A french introduction to R and the tidyverse

This will only be of interest for french-speaking people, but I just published the first version of my french I_ntroduction to R and the tidyverse_. It is generated with bookdown and is available online at :

It is an evolution of a previous "Introduction à R", which is nearly ten years old, now with a full part dedicated to the tidyverse : ggplot2, dplyr, tidyr, stringr, forcats, R Markdown... The document is intended to be as accessible and progressive as possible, as I tend to teach R to people with no computer programming experience and very little knowledge in quantitative analysis.

Thanks for your attention and all the great work on the tidyverse packages,

Julien

I wonder how to translate:

Ceci n'est pas un pipe.

The quote is directly from the description of the magrittr package. It is a reference to the René Magritte painting "Ceci n'est pas une pipe".

(Sorry if you already knew this)

Yes, I did know that. Attempts at jokes don't always translate very well. :grinning:

Oops, sorry...

Merci beaucoup pour cette contribution qui est plus qu'une simple traduction de R4DS. Je ne cesse de partager vos travaux à mes stagiaires peu à l'aise avec l'anglais.
