Abstract: The {gt} package makes it easy to create high quality tables in R. Using Chicago 311 Service Request data, this entry demonstrates how to create tables that follow design suggestions put forth by Stephen Few (Show Me the Numbers) and others. Readers should walk away with a better understanding of how to create well-designed tables using {gt}, as well as a better understanding of 311 Service Requests in Chicago over the past 12 months.
