Are Trajectory is the same as Actual Time Series in Fourier definition?

I am studying this useful material about Fourier transformation, I am wondering if the "Trajectory" keyword meaning is the same as an Actual Time Series? or are there a slight difference between them? will be grateful if there's a direct explanation, Thankyou in Advance :slight_smile:

So yes, in that document trajectory means the signal to process, which is typically a time series (although you could use FT in different contexts, including when the signal is a function of space, temperature, or whatever variable is relevant).
