--auth-pam-helper-path in RStudio Server 1.4

We are using --auth-pam-helper-path to point to custom authentication script in our user-space run RStudio Server. Works alright up to version 1.3, but, I just noticed this option is missing in 1.4. And from causal observation this runtime option is ignored. Is there any way to do this in 1.4? Going over the rserver.conf options I don't see anything that would look close.

Thanks for pointing this out. I've opened a github issue to track further investigation. If you can supply any extra details in the issue that would be greatly appreciated.
