AutoML (tpot) in Python crashes RStudio 🛑

Hello everybody :wave: :blush:,

I'm using Reticulate via rmarkdown.

Everything works fine except RStudio crashes :stop_sign: when I use an AutoML package using genetic programming (tpot).

RStudio pop-ups :

  1. Save File \ Unable to establish connection with R session \ OK
  2. R Session Aborted \ R encountered a fatal error \ The session was terminated \ Start New Session

I have absolutely no idea what to do about it :cry: except switch to rpy2.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

  • Rstudio version : 1.2.5001
  • Reticulate version : 1.13
