Base project gets seen as a project by students

I created a classroom as an instructor. I used a project (Base_Course) as a Base project for each project the students are going to need. When I accessed the Workspace as an instructor, I only see the newly created project. When I log in as the student, I can see both, the new and the base. Is that the intended behaviour? I attach three screenshots:

And the projects available do not include the base project

Can you try to log out and log back in as the student and check if this still happens?
