As a mid-level Business Intelligence Analyst, you will own the development of data products and solutions to help Blue Origin build a road to space using data-driven insight. Our partners include a broad range of disciplines and range from the CEO to individual contributors across the organization. You will be part of the Blue Origin data community; strengthening the value of analytics and data science in modern aerospace.

  • Collaborate with New Glenn program managers to develop strategic reporting solutions for senior leaders
  • Build, manage, evaluate, and evolve a suite of Tableau dashboards and other self-service tools for our key customers
  • Collaborate with other BI analysts and engineers on data/table structures in order to optimize for Tableau dashboards and other self-service needs
  • Apply common statistical methods, data modeling, and predictive analysis to answer questions for the business
  • Maintain day-to-day workflow and communication with our program customers

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Business domain knowledge in one or more relevant product development areas, such as engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing
  • 5+ years of experience building and maintaining dashboards with data visualization tools such as Tableau
  • 5+ years of experience in extracting and manipulating large data sets from various relational databases using SQL (Redshift preferred, Postgres)
  • Proficient with at least one statistical or programming language (e.g., Python and/or R)
  • Experience working with end users to capture user stories and build mockups
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills, including to an executive audience
  • Self-starter, strong bias for action in a high ambiguity environment
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum


  • Aerospace industry experience
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud computing platforms
  • Project management experience
