The minimal example explains itself and provides templates for writing your own pattern language...
This theme was inspired by the book "A Pattern Language", which is an interesting book. It is a clone of the visual style and principles of content organization described in that book. I won't go into what pattern languages are here, that seems like a bigger task, but they are a thing (relatively new to me as it turns out...I'm going to use this style to write some stuff soon).
The theme is made for web-books, I did not make custom latex for compiling to .pdf. I didn't even try to see what happens...It might work fine, probably not since all the styling was done in .css
