Bookdown/Rmarkdown force code indent lines

hi,

I am using Rmarkdown and bookdown, and my problem is the following:
In some cases the codes are simply too long and the HTML output is formatted without new lines in it.
Example:
load("C:/Users/user/Desktop/szakdolgozat/fertiliy/R files/Szakdolgozat/Thesis_Variables_2020.04.10.RData")

And it doesnt matter if I press an enter or not the output is:

(the output file is a bookdown file)
Is there a way to force R to insert a new line on the output where it is neccesarry on order to avoid having horrible long codes?
