I haven't seen many videos on the gt package yet, but did you see the Examples at the bottom of that page? That code reproduces the two tables listed under Figures on that page.
yes i did, however the code doesn't seem to work for me
A reprex is the preferred way to show folks exactly what you're trying to do, and it'll reproduce any output or error messages you encounter along the way as well, FAQ: What's a reproducible example (`reprex`) and how do I do one?.
One thing that might make the examples not work is if you don’t have the scales and palletteer packages. Could you install those packages, restart R, and try the examples again?
