Can we used R sutdio/shiny apllications without Spark master in cluster?

Hi All,

We are using spark docker image and it consists of saprk controller,Rstudio and Shiny applications. We have an requirement to shutdown/stop spark controller instance when we used alone for Rsudio and shiny applications in cluster.

Can we used it without Spark ?

Hi @venkat626, yes, you should be able to use RStudio server and Shiny server without the Spark controller service being active.
