Can't render Rmd file to notebook and show graphs

Using the preview on save option I get the following error.

Error in source("~/Desktop/R_desktop/CIMG2/temp_CIMG_CIMG2_Augustus_4_25_23.Rmd") :
attempt to use zero-length variable name

This occurs only on one file.

When I run the following

rmarkdown::render("CIMG_CIMG2_Augustus_4_25_23.Rmd")

I get a notebook but it has no graphs, which is the reason that I want the notebook. What am I doing wrong?
