Confusing script - Beginner

Hi, I'm just starting with R, so I'm really a beginner.

I saved my script and now by opening it I get this confusing things:
+¤Ö¤ÖH1½]Õz¹%6mQ!Í&͎u f7yƆÃàÂÑFü[´I…”Û§¦ÜMÓöRÊMûTH³I³1½»4ªf“f#ÅôvÕì¦W?,©Ù´[…ô;ÖAú}|5úMûUH·c¤Û¢ÛMoZYrî¦-+¤Ý¤Ý£Ý«[sÓ®ÒlÒl¤˜ÞšMWH³I³‘bz»jöV£Ù´‹…ÔœÔ<ցjÞôì:3YѶ Ä2m`!½&½öi§éõ+ÔkÚºB:M:Ó;]§iÓ

I really don't know what to do or what I did wrong, so thankful for every hint

Thank you!

Hi, and welcome!

Please see the FAQ: What's a reproducible example (`reprex`) and how do I do one? Using a reprex, complete with representative data will attract quicker and more answers. This question probably does't require one, though. More information about specific composing and reading applications are needed, though.

What you are seeing is what's called an encoding issue. If your script was composed in an application that uses one choice and you are opening it in RStudio, which has a default of UTF-8, that would explain what you see.
