I have a question related to the maximum memory Rstudio can use. Memory used by Rstudio is the RAM installed on a machine, but recently there has been some activity showing that if you use SSD, you can assign part of it as RAM. This can be done really easily and you can go from having installed 8Gb of RAM to 40Gb of VRAM or even more depending on size of SSD. My question is can this memory be accessed from Rstudio in order to make it handle bigger files ? Thanks
