Creating an Rproject on Sharepoint

Hello Rstudio world,

Is there a way (or a possibility) to create an Rproject within a Sharepoint Library? I have tried but I get error messages indicating misplaced locations or too-long file paths.

Has anybody tried it successfully? I am working within my work intranet.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Has anyone found a solution to this? SharePoint doesn't like files starting with a period either like .RData.

Is there a way around this?

Create new Sharepoint --> Documents --> sync .

This should sync your sharepoint folder to your local drive and then it will show up like any other folder on your machine, and you can create the project like you would in any local pathway. (I have done this and haven't had issues)
