ctmm: setting icon in plot panel not showing up

I am using the variogram.fit() function which is supposed to open a setting icon (gear) on the plot to interactively manipulate variogram parameters. However, the gear icon does not show up in the plot panel in rStudio.

Does anyone can help me in how to find this gear icon?
