Is Rstudio Community website a full, or hybrid Shiny App?
Some forms look like a very well written shiny app! Those cool $inputs with nice validation messages could be shared for good

That would be super awesome, but unfortunately it is not 
It is actually a Discourse site. I am definitely with you though - I think it's super valuable to have a community of contributors that can continue to improve the Shiny widget / input validation quality, etc.!!

One hoped for outcomes of the 1st Shiny Contest is to incentivize sharing in a widely useful format some of the best shiny apps and features out there. After the contest is over, there's a plan to add some of these apps + code (if permission is given), to the shiny gallery.
