deploying shiny app to users via BOT or browser

Hello,

How do we deploy shiny app to user as a BOT or on a browser. This is locally to a LAN and the user don’t have R or R studio install...

Maybe I just saved it locally on my machine or share drive and provide them with the URL to access ?

Can you show me how, I think user need to have R and R studio install on their machine to do this.

You basically setup R on a server and have it answer request from your clients browser. No R or files on their computer. That the whole leverage behind shiny apps.

I don’t have admin or server rights.

also is private info so is should be on a intranet. Can we create standalone app with R ?

Hi,

You should discuss with your admins. Having an internal server running shiny server is the easiest solution. The alternative of distributing RStudio on each user computer along the files is much more complicated.
