If I may ask a meta meta question: what is the sysadmin (not moderating) workload of hosting/maintaining a Discourse site such as this one? (I'm assuming the site is 'self-hosted'.) I'm considering migrating a Yahoo group to Discourse, and just wondering if I'm crazy to install Discourse open source on an, e.g., Digital Ocean server and manage it myself.

I think it depends on what you’re doing. The basic setup is quite easy, but I’ve found adding and developing lots of plugins sometimes collides with each other.
