I am trying to extract tables from PDFs, and have tried multiple times to use the tabulizer packages, but am unable to install them. I have tried installing Java and other fixes, but haven't found any solutions for tabulizer to work. Does anyone know any alternatives to this?

Could you elaborate on why you can't the package and what the error you're getting looks like?
If this is only for a one time thing, a non-R workaround could be to convert the PDF to csv/excel using any (online) tool and then load the data into R.
