Does RStudio "Spotted Wakerobin" support Rcpp?

I just installed RStudio "Spotted Wakerobin" on my Arm64 (M1) macBook but my package (my first package) no longer compiles and links.

I attempted to start a new package to test Rcpp but that choice is no longer available.

How does one make a new package that uses Rcpp?
