Dropped pin size - Awesome icons

Hello community,

I am using "awesomeIcons" to map my data because it seems to be the most efficient way to differentiate based on two attributes. The problem is that the dropped pins are very large; when I zoom out the map my observations overlap eachother. I have been looking for a manner to decrease the size of these dropped pins, for example as the "makeicon" makes it, but it has been impossible.

I would really appreciate any guidance!
