DT-edit() not capturing the editing (on mac )

I have looked at various examples and use cases of DT package use in shiny apps.

In my case though at this point, I don't see the ctrl+ return working to save my changes. X1_cell_edit or x1_row_edit are thus returning NULL.

Any help on getting this fixed is appreciated.
