Embed RStudio Videos?

My sense is that you (RStudio, the company), think very carefully about these things before publishing, so perhaps the question answers itself.

For the videos you compile at https://www.rstudio.com/resources/videos/, would you consider providing a means for others to embed your videos, similar to YouTube or Vimeo?

(Perhaps there is already a way to do this and I have missed it?)

Hi Ian!

Yes, if you right click in the video you wish to embed, there's an option that says "Copy Link and Thumbnail". I did that for the Media section in db.rstudio.com: http://db.rstudio.com/other_resources/media/

Thanks for the tip - this gets me 90% of the way there, as it gives a thumbnail with a link to the page at rstudio.com where the video is hosted.

Forgive me for bothering you on the remaining 10%: do you think it could be possible to fully embed an RStudio video from a page that is not at rstudio.com?

Just to be clear, your answer gets me what I need for now, so no-one need get too worked up on this question :slight_smile:
