Hi! I got this error message.
Error in install.packages : Line starting '<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLI ...' is malformed!
Using
R Studio
R version 3.1.3 (2015-03-09) -- "Smooth Sidewalk"
MacOS Mojave 10.14.6
I know that this problem has been discussed elsewhere but the suggestion to
deselect "Use secure download method for http" did not work.
Selecting HTTP mirrors is not an option available to me.
I have tried various mirror sites (with or without https). All did not work.
Please advise. Thanks!
