Error in load() : bad 'file' argument

Error in load(................) : bad 'file' argument

Can anyone tell me what this means?
I am not able to load the data I imported from excel to Rstudio. It gives me "Error in load(................) : bad 'file' argument" after I "load(...........)" . Any suggestions please.
