Hello all,

I am having an issue trying to knit a .PDF

I have just started to use Markdown in R and I am trying to knit the tutorial script of RStudio.

this is the error I have:

RStudio Version 0.99.896
Ubuntu version 16.4

Is there a specific reason you are using old version of RStudio? Current is 1.1.383, so maybe updating will help.

Thank you for the suggestion. I Update RStudio to 1.1.383 but I have still the same problem

Looking around I found I had to install three packages:

texlive-latex-recommended
texlive-latex-extra
texlive-fonts-recommended

And then things worked!
