Error: permission denied when changing preferences

Hi,

I'm on macOS Monterey 12.1, Apple M1 pro.
I encountered similar problem as other posts. [Error: Permission denied when trying to change settings] When I try to change the preferences in R Studio I get "Error: Permission denied". The different thing is that the setting does change even though it says permission denied, but if I quite RStudio and restart, it's back to default setting and I have to make the change again.

I tried to run RStudio as an administrator following below steps but still not working.
