Error: ReadItem: unknown type 192, perhaps written by later version of R

Hello,

I have a workspace Rdata that I am trying to load into Rstudio but fails and I get this error:

Error: ReadItem: unknown type 192, perhaps written by later version of R

I have used the same workspace a few days ago. Also I have the latest version on R and Rstudio. The same error i get when i load it into R-GUI as well. I really need help because I have extremely important data inside the workspace. Thank you!

If you're getting the same error in the vanilla R GUI, then it's probably not IDE-related. You may get more helpful ideas by moving this to the General category.
