Error: Unable to establish connection with R session on windows PC

I am new to R and Rstudio. I recently installed both R and Rstudio on my windows PC and apparently I can't do anything with Rstudio. I keep getting the error message below. Any help?

Did you install RStudio first? If so, it may not be able to find R on your computer.

Yes I did.
My problem is solved. I installed the older version of Rstudio.

I installed this version - RStudio Desktop 1.1.463
