I downloaded the latest version for mac and installed it successfully. But when I launched RStudio, it showed me this.

Welcome to the RStudio Community Forum.

This is maybe a naïve question: Did you install R itself?
Installing RStudio does not install R. Download and install the latest R version for your system from a CRAN mirror site near you:
https://cran.r-project.org/mirrors.html
Then try restarting RStudio.
