Running RStudio 1.4.1717

I couldn't find "Find and Replace" available under the "Edit" menu.

I found that I could hit CTRL + SHIFT + J to bring it up, but isn't there a menu setting?

If you have an R script window open, Find appears under the Edit menu. Apparently, it doesn't show if only the console window is open.

Weird. I have been editing other chunks in my RMD document and I just checked the Edit menu and there are many more menu items present including Replace and Find.

For some reason, it was showing me a redacted Edit menu previously even though I was editing R code in the RMD document.

Solved for now.
