I am currently using the google API to get live traffic data and visualize it with google way library.
However, I would like to get data about the layers, the average speed, incident etc.
Is it possible to get that from google API traffic ?

Also, you should probably look into documentation that google provides on whether it's even possible.

I have read some functionalities of the package but it seems like I cant get the data of traffic.
I think, you are limited to whatever googleway gives you. From cursory glance, it doesn't look like it provides you with metadata for traffic.
