Getting error while installing the caret packages

Hi, I am getting error while installing the caret packages. request your help on this.

Error: package or namespace load failed for ‘caret’ in loadNamespace(i, c(lib.loc, .libPaths()), versionCheck = vI[[i]]):
there is no package called ‘recipes’

install.packages("recipes")

then

install.packages("caret")
