ggplot with reactive data input question

Dear all,
I cannot figure out how to get ggplot to plot user-imported data. The data import is done with the reactive function and the table containg this data is drawn in the mainpanel of one tab. However, the same data does not plot in the other tab.

Try using !!as.name(input$X_ax) instead of eval(), if you still have problems please share your error logs.

I tried both eval and !! function (though I do not fully understand the difference)... Both give an error but errors are different:

After clicking on the "Plot"-Tab with the "!!" function

Warning: Error in as.name: attempt to use zero-length variable name

And with the "eval" function:

It's a little tricky to help you without sample data, but I think this is the cause of your problem, return() is not scaping the reactive function, so when input$X_ax == NULL the ggplot statement gets evaluated anyways, but are your sure that input$X_ax is NULL or is just empty i.e. " "? anyways you can try this and if it doesn't work also try changing the logical condition.

@cyrus That was not what I meant when I said sample data (pasting data on a post this way is not a good thing to do) , maybe I should have been more clear, I was referring to a self contained reprex (short for reproducible example) that also includes data, if you never heard of it, this is how to doit.
