gs_auth function from googlesheets package is not working for me. After selecting my account in the Google Account sign-in page, I get the error " Sign in with Google temporarily disabled for this app. This app has not been verified yet by Google in order to use Google Sign In".
I am running a program that worked for me last year. I am getting this same error described and not yet answered on stackoverfow: [https://stackoverflow.com/questions/58869050/r-googlsheets-unable-to-use-gs-auth-in-googlesheets-package-sign-in-with ]

I'm having this problem too
Take a look to this related thread
Hi Andrzej,
Two possible reasons (easy enough, since they're my slides):
The code was really meant to show how I got from point A to B as an example, and I don't think anyone other than me has actual access to that data.
The Google API for googlesheets is changing, and there's and people will be moving to googlesheets4 (the name of which reflects the google API version).
Gavin Simpson has a great post on pivoting here with data available if you're looking to try your hand at more of the new tidyr syntax:
Also there are, of course, the vignettes in the package:

Switching to googlesheets4 seems to have worked for me, thanks.
