Hi there,
I'm trying to download RStudio on my chromebook using the linux version. I am following this website to guide my installation: https://francish.netlify.com/post/installing-r-and-rstudio-on-a-pixel-slate/
The file I downloaded to install is rstudio-1.2.5033-amd64.deb. I can follow the instructions fine until I get to the actual installation. I use the following command: sudo gdebi rstudio-1.2.5033-amd64.deb but I get the following error message:
Wrong architecture 'amd64' -- Run dpkg --add-architecture to add it and update afterwards
Now I have an Acer R13 Chromebook which I do believe is running using a 64 bit processor. So can anyone help me understand what is going wrong and/or what checks I need to perform?
Thanks.
