Hello -
I've been getting this error for the past 3 months running R. I've tried digging around in forums to find the answer to this and nothing has really worked.
I keep getting the Error: Unable to establish connection with R session when I am trying to run basically anything in R. It doesn't matter what script I use, whether I have packages from my library loaded or not I still get this error.
I am using Rstudio version Version 1.2.1335 and R version 3.6.3
I reset the Rstudio state by deleting the temporary folder following the directions here: https://support.rstudio.com/hc/en-us/articles/200534577-Resetting-RStudio-Desktop-s-State and then I reopened Rstudio and tried simply running 2+2 and I still got the error
