My Documents folder is in sync with Google Drive, including the R working directory. I want to back up the data files, but not the win-library folder containing packages, because there are too many files. So I set it to be hidden, this way Drive doesn't sync it, but then RStudio couldn't access packages. How do I make it access hidden files?
Drive doesn't support this feature. If you sync the WD folder, you have to sync all the subfolders. I can't separate the data files, which I need to back up, from the win-library folder, either.
