How to calculate time to the first case on COVID19 package

Dear everyone,
I'm working on the package ("COVID19") and trying to understand how to create a new column to track how many dates from the first day of the dataset to the first confirmed case by each country. Can anyone please help me to do so? I'm pretty new to R.
