Any idea of how to disable heading numbers in bookdown::html_document2: ?
You can have a look at the doc of the function ?bookdown::html_document2
You'll see there is a number_sections argument you can set to FALSE
it should work if you just don't want the header numbered.

Sorry for that. All the detailed informations are not yet in the book, all the more when it is new features. Thanks for the heads up on it. We could add that missing information.
The function help pages contains also lot of information. Do not forget to look into those when you looking for what is possible. Specifically format function helps page contains the information on all the arguments you can set in yaml format too.
