I would like to know what options I can enter into set_engine(). Model tuning parameters are available in show_model_info(). Is there a way to know the parameters of the engine package in the same way?

I think your best bet is to explore the parsnip help pages. You can search for them with ?details_{model}_{engine}. For example, ?details_logistic_reg_glmnet.
