I want to create a new connection in Rstudio. I have installed odbc, DBI and ROracle packages. However, when I go to the Connection Pane and click New Connection I'm missing the Oracle from the list as shown below.
Do you also have the oracle connector/driver installed in your system? (not in R)
I'm not sure what you mean by connector/driver. I have oracle instant client installed. I followed these steps when installing oracle.
Is there anything else I need to install ?
