how to normalise shannon-weiner index per unit area to statistically analyse

i need to use the data below to calculate species richness and Shannon Weiner diversity index for the park habitat and the wood habitat. However, the overall area sampled for the park was 25m squared whereas the area for the wood was 4.5m squared. since i need to statistically anaylise to find if there is any signifiicant difference between the shannon-weiner index, i need to normalise them both to get the per unit value for each habitat to then conduct either a t-test or a wilcox rank sum test.
if any could help me with the r code, using the data the below to carry out these analysise it would be a great help
