How to recover lost Rmd file on RStudio Cloud when working on someone else's project?

Hi I went onto a friends project on the cloud today and created a new rmd file and have been working on it all day.
After having a break I've come back and cannot find the file I had been working on for hours.

Could someone please point me in the right direction?

Hi Mitchell,

Depending on the access settings for the project in question, you may have been working on a temporary copy of the project. Temporary copies are created when you open a project you do not have permission to modify. A temporary copy must be saved permanently to preserve any changes. Is it possible that you were working in a temporary copy?
