Hey there, I am looking for a method to remove a single point in a plot after it was placed without constructing the whole plot again. The point was placed by using the points() function. I only want to use base R.
Has anyone an idea?

I dont believe that is possible with base R plot/points.
You might hackily have partial success in simply overplotting the point with a background colour, but I expect that wouldnt work well if you have many points close together / overlapping, the result would be messy.
