htmlwidget in certain HUGO-themes don't work (blogdown)

Hi all,

I've got a small question about blogdown and htmlwidgets within posts and pages.

When I publish a site to netlify, in most themes (the Academic Resumé Template for example) htmlwidgets won't work. They do however in the default hugo-lithium theme.

I Googled/DuckduckGo'ed a lot, but can't really find the reason of why this is and a working solution. Any insights/suggestions?

Update 1: no idea why, but it magically works.
