@josh, i have the same problem that acca3003 had, my project does not load.

@josh I was ok for me to delete the project so I did. I will set it up again. When I delted the projec then I got the message "shutting down session" or similar - maybe this is a hint for you?

The date of creation of project 32575 is well after the transition of the location of the project directory, so this is an unrelated issue. Could you share more details about what is going wrong, e.g. screenshots & Javascript console messages in a new thread?

The issue is there again ... @josh I know we have to back-up and I planned to do so every second day (I will every day) ... but a talk I want to give next week is stuck up there .. can I somehow access the data?

I had similar problem recently, and it seems @josh is correct on the theory that rstudio.cloud is close before all files are saved.

I am not sure was it pure luck or it is indeed a solution. I tried to delete the project (move to trash), and hoping that Rstudio Cloud can terminate any running tasks. After about 1 hour, I tried to recover the project from trash, and it now opens!

BTW, immediately after moving project to trash, the restore is not working, saying a 500 server error..

Thank you for this solution. Not ideal but it worked for me after I couldn't get into my project with the same symptoms (timeout...spinning at loading screen).

I deleted my project and then immediately retrieved from the trash.

It would be helpful to have a project "reboot" button to stop the instances instead of delete.

Obviously I immediately committed to github once back in. Will do this more often now.

Hi, I have the same problem. My projects (both of them) don't start. The wheel stil spinning at the startup after several minutes. I tried to trash a project and then immediatley retrieve it, as has been suggested, but I cannot retrieve it and I have instead this error:

Unhandled Exception: HTTP 402: Payment Required

I have the same error if I try to create a new project.

@nifft.batugg I suspect that you are hitting a bug where if you have a shinyapps.io account that has exceeded it's hours, you are unable to open rstudio.cloud projects. We'll look into that, but would appreciate it if you could confirm that's the case by sharing either your account name or id (feel free to direct message me).
