And have the image saved in the same folder as my .qmd file, but when I render the website the image doesn't appear, only the exact text that I wrote to call the image.
I got it! I added the relevant code for the figure in the Visual editor, instead of using the button to add an image... When I switched to the Source editor the code was recognized and the figure was added properly.
