Include verbatim text in RMarkdown with a scroll bar and with syntax highlighting.

I'm trying to create some documentation in RMarkdown. I want to include a yaml file within my documentation. Ideally it would be shown with syntax highlighting and in a scrolling window. I thought about trying to do it with the aceEditor but that only works in Shiny and I need HTML output.

Does anyone have any dieas?
